Project
Solar-Powered IoT-Based Air Quality Monitoring System
₹100.0
The autonomous air quality monitoring system in this project is designed to operate on solar power, providing continuous and sustainable environmental monitoring. In addition to the DHT11/DHT22 sensor for temperature and humidity readings, the system incorporates sensors like the MQ-135 to identify dangerous contaminants like ammonia, carbon dioxide, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The data collected gets transmitted to Google Firebase through an ESP8266 microcontroller, enabling real-time monitoring using a mobile or through the web interface. Even in off-grid areas, the entire system runs continuously due to a solar panel and a rechargeable battery. A voltage regulator keeps the component's power supply steady. This technology helps users evaluate environmental conditions by giving them useful information about air quality levels. It provides an economical and environmentally responsible method of ongoing air quality monitoring in a variety of environments.
