IoT-Enabled RFID Security and Access Control System

In this project, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and the Internet of Things (IoT) are integrated to provide an enhanced security system for controlled access. Identification tags are scanned by an RFID reader and processed by an ESP8266 microprocessor. A Firebase Realtime database is used to validate the scanned data to authenticate users. A servo motor unlocks the door for a predetermined amount of time if access is approved, and it immediately sounds an alert if someone tries to enter without authorization. Real-time remote monitoring of security status and access logs is made possible by a web and mobile interface. This system, which is intended for limited regions, improves security by using centralized data management and automated verification. For contemporary access control applications, the integration of RFID and IoT provides a reliable, scalable, and effective solution.
