IoT-Enabled Smart Parking Availability System

Through a smartphone application, a smart parking management system is developed in this project that provides real-time information on available parking spaces. The system uses IoT-enabled sensors to identify whether a car is using a parking space. An ESP8266 Wi-Fi module then sends the data to a cloud platform, such as Google Firebase. Users can verify and reserve available parking spaces remotely by using a mobile app that provides access to this information. Cloud technology integration enables precise, real-time updates, which lowers traffic and fuel usage from pointless parking searches. By making parking easier, the technology improves urban transportation. Because of its affordable design, it can be used in a variety of parking facilities, such as public parking lots, office buildings, and shopping centers. The efficiency of parking and user convenience is greatly increased by its application.
