IoT-Based Smart Patient Monitoring System for Real-Time Healthcare

An Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled system is developed in this project to continuously monitor vital health indicators such as blood oxygen levels (SpO2), heart rate, and body temperature. The device uses the Raspberry Pi Pico W to upload real-time measurements to a local network and incorporates sensors for precise data measurement. Caretakers or medical professionals can remotely check on the status of patients within the same network in response to a web-based interface that shows real-time updates. The system is appropriate for clinical or home-based applications because it is portable, affordable, and simple to establish. This system exemplifies how IoT can improve access to healthcare, especially for patients who need round-the-clock monitoring or live in distant locations with limited medical services.
