IoT-Based Smart Security System for Women’s Safety

To protect women in emergency situations, this project develops a wearable and intuitive security solution. A panic button or gesture-based sensor built into the system instantly notifies pre-configured contacts or authorities when it is pressed. By relaying the user's location and distress signal, an ESP8266 module enables real-time connection with Firebase. To ensure prompt reaction, notifications are issued using online or mobile applications. The efficiency of rescue operations is increased by GPS integration, which makes exact location tracking possible. IoT and cloud technologies are used in this cost-effective and flexible solution to build a dependable safety network. This proactive approach offers a complete personal security solution that can be used in a variety of real-world situations and assists in developing a safer environment for women.
