IoT-Based Smart Energy Monitoring System

In this project, a system is designed to monitor energy consumption in real-time for households, industries, or individual devices. An ACS712 current sensor and an ESP8266 microcontroller are utilized in the system to measure electrical characteristics and upload data to Firebase for cloud storage. Users can obtain insights into power consumption patterns by remotely monitoring energy usage through a mobile or web application. By calculating energy, power, and current consumption, the system provides useful information for maximizing energy efficiency. Additional features, such as analytics and warnings, can be incorporated due to its scalable design. This affordable solution uses IoT technology for real-time monitoring and control, which supports smarter energy management and encourages sustainable energy activities.
