To maximize the progression of plants, this project develops an Internet of Things-enabled system for automated and real-time greenhouse monitoring. Soil moisture, temperature, and humidity sensors are connected to a NodeMCU (ESP8266) microprocessor. A web or mobile application can be used to retrieve the data remotely due to its collection and storage in Google Firebase. Minimizing human intervention, the system can automate tasks including turning on irrigation when soil moisture falls below a certain threshold. In addition to lowering operating costs, the technology promotes sustainable agriculture by increasing crop output and water efficiency. For greenhouse environment management, this solution's real-time monitoring and control features provide flexibility and reactivity, making it an appropriate instrument for contemporary farming methods.
