IoT-Based Smart Fire Detection and Firefighting System

In this project, an Internet of Things-based automated fire detection and firefighting system is developed to enhance safety and lower fire-related hazards. For real-time monitoring of abnormalities associated with fires, the system combines NodeMCU with sensors like temperature, smoke, and flame detectors. When an abnormal condition is detected, the system sounds an alarm and notifies users through mobile apps that leverage platforms like Firebase or Blynk. To extinguish flames immediately, the device has an automatic firefighting system that turns on water or CO2 dispensers. The Internet of Things-based method eliminates the need for human involvement by providing autonomous operation, remote monitoring, and real-time data logging. Early detection and quick reaction are made possible by this technology, which improves fire safety in commercial, industrial, and residential environments. Cost-effective, scalable, and dependable, the solution offers a practical and affordable way to safeguard people and property while reducing fire damage and response time.
