Project
Image Processing-Based Fire Detection System
₹19000.0
This project proposes to enhance safety and automation by developing a fire detection system with image processing and Internet of Things technology. Intelligent computer vision systems that analyze video streams to identify fire have replaced traditional fire detection approaches. The system uses the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to communicate with Google Firebase in real-time, and it uses OpenCV to process video frames to identify fires. An alarm is turned on when a fire is discovered, and Firebase is updated with the fire status enabling remote monitoring through a web or mobile interface. Live footage is recorded by a camera module and locally processed on a computer, including a Raspberry Pi. With its scalable and dependable design, the system can be used in public areas, businesses, and homes in real time. This method improves fire safety in both established and emerging locations by utilizing easily available components that guarantee cost-effectiveness and ease of installation.
