In this project, a working electromechanical actuation system for deploying aircraft control components like ailerons, slats, and flaps is developed. Servomotors, gears, and control electronics are all included in the system's design, which uses lightweight, 3D-printed parts for accurate actuation. For real-time demonstrations, a scaled-up wing model fitted with the actuation mechanism is utilized. Through the use of simulated flight situations, the research assesses variables like response time, torque, and dependability. In comparison to conventional hydraulic systems, the actuation system exhibits improvements by prioritizing energy efficiency and compact design. According to the study, control surface deployment is crucial for improving lift, drag, and maneuverability during crucial flight stages.
