Face Recognition for Attendance Tracking Application

The application in this project improves security and accuracy in corporate or educational contexts by automating attendance marking using facial recognition technology. Leveraging OpenCV and deep learning models using FaceNet, the system recognizes faces in live video streams and records attendance effortlessly. The design increases efficiency and minimizes errors by carrying away with manual attendance procedures. For real-time face recognition, the application requires a camera setup and a computer with enough processing capacity, which makes this appropriate for deployment in offices or classrooms. The research project shows how facial recognition can be employed to regulate attendance in an efficient manner.
