Emotion-Based Music Player Developed with Python

An emotion-based music player is presented in this project, which plays music based on the user's mood using facial recognition and emotion detection algorithms. Using a CNN model trained on emotion datasets, the Python-based system recognizes emotions including happy, sadness, and rage and uses OpenCV for real-time facial detection. From pre-configured playlists, the system chooses and plays music based on the emotion it has identified. An interactive and customized listening experience is offered by this user-friendly app, which makes it a perfect fit for smart home systems. Despite its simplicity, the project shows how machine learning can be utilized to develop personalized entertainment.
