Analyzing Women’s Safety in Indian Cities Using Machine Learning on Social Media Data

This project employs Twitter data mining and machine learning techniques to examine women's safety in Indian cities. The system filters for safety-related phrases and emotions in tweets tagged with location data using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques like sentiment analysis and topic modeling. To develop a city-wise safety index, the model clusters tweets into subjects related to safety. This study identifies significant concerns that require attention and provides communities and policymakers with useful information. The strategy highlights how effective social media is at determining public opinion on important social issues.
