Pneumatic Sand Filtering Project

The objective of this project is to effectively separate fine particles from sand by designing and developing a pneumatic sand filtration system. Sand can be quickly filtered while undesirable particles and contaminants are eliminated through the system's use of compressed air to vibrate a mesh sieve. A pneumatic cylinder, an air compressor, and an efficient filtration assembly are essential parts. The system's small size and portability make it appropriate for on-site landscaping and construction applications. To assess the filtration speed, effectiveness, and dependability in various sand situations, testing is done. This project shows how to filter sand in an economical and energy-efficient way by using pneumatic technology.
